Last one, now, so anything following this week will either talk about the topic, or about the September topic, or it will involve some other club business.
The August meeting of the Chester Science Fiction & Fantasy Readers Club takes place this Saturday, 11 August, at 14:00 in the Library in Northgate Street, Chester. The venue is the Training Room on the first floor. The theme is "Magic and Sorcery," and the recommended book is "A Wizard of Earthsea," by Ursula K LeGuin - but please, don't just read that one book. Bring along one of your own so we can talk about that, as well.
The surprise I told you about ... is now highly likely to take place. If you have access to the Chester Chronicle, keep checking the newspaper in the runup to the event.
See you all on Saturday (apart from Geoff Nelder, to whom we wish a safe voyage and a pleasant holiday with his missus on the Isle of Man).
