Poster News and 2012 Dates

I've sent off posters to Chester Library, where they will now go on display. They will also go to other Library branches in Chester.

If you want to see the posters, just visit the Library in Northgate Street. Hopefully, you'll see one on display, and you can come back to me about it at the next meeting.

And now, to dates for next year. The Library staff have looked at the available dates for next year, and they have come up with a list of available slots. They are:-

28th January
25th February
24th March
21st April
19th May
16th June
14th July
11th August
8th September
6th October
3rd November
1st December

I've replied in the affirmative already. We can discuss this, and the available choices for next year's meetings, at our next meeting in August.

The business of getting the dates sorted out was something that involved an outside agency, namely the Library, so this was really one of my responsibilities now. And I'm prudent enough to set the dates now, rather than mid-October when all the other groups, like the knitting and the Warhammer groups ... oh, the crossover potential ... will probably start setting their dates.

I just got ours in first, so we won't be jostling for slots along with everybody else later.
